The mission of the Manzano Middle School Library Program is to promote lifelong readers; support flexible and open access for library services; empower students to be critical thinkers and teach informational ethics with twenty-first century skills and college ready standards.

Library Policies: The Manzano Middle School Library maintains the following policies for the purpose of upholding a safe, welcoming environment for all its patrons.
- Please use quiet voices in the library.
- Food and drinks are not allowed in the library.
- Respect library staff, other patrons, furniture, and books.
- Return all books on time and in good condition. Students are responsible for book(s) borrowed and return those books on time. Fines are calculated from the books due date until it is returned.
- Fines are five (5) cents per day and continue to accrue until the item is returned. Books are due every 3 weeks.
